and so..

today was my dad's birthday.
on both of our birthdays, i had to go to lesson.
ALLL the way to LA and back(in rush hour)
well, we had a dinner thing planned, but my dad said we'd better stay home cus of the stupid wind.
on our way back from LA, there was a HUGE palm tree shrub laying across the road and we had to go around it.
then, i got really scared.
but we got home safely.

what's up with all these people dying from swine flu?
i thought it was over..
but i'm sorta getting nervous+scared...
well, stay safe and warm, everyone.

time. goes by so, so fast.
do you realize how far we're into 2009?
and day by day, i'm getting.. older..and older..and EW.
i'll stop the pessimism.

you know what i realized today?
there isn't only one type of love.
or .. i should say, there isn't only one type of WAY to love things, people, ways, etc.
you can grow to love them, learn to love them, or simply just love them.
like the smell of soap on my dad's hands.
i always remembered that smell as a kid, and today my hands smelled exactly the same after i washed them.
the same exact soap, i realized..
and then i sort of missed how things used to be when i was so little.
and it doesn't always have to be something that you liked from the beginning,
some things you don't realize you love until they're gone.
and then there're things that you love the moment you see it.
this is enough blabbing on for today, i think.
the odyssey sucks.
i liked the korean comic version better.
